Set 183 years before the events of the original trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim tells the story of the legendary King of Rohan, House Helm Hammerhand. A sudden attack by the Wolf, a cunning and ruthless Dunlander lord bent on avenging his father’s death, forces Helm and his men to make a brave last stand at the ancient Hornburg fortress – a formidable fortress that later became known as Helm’s Deep. In an increasingly desperate situation, Helm’s daughter Hera must find the will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy bent on her complete destruction.
